Resitance thermometers of the „PT Compact“ Series are the simple version of the PT Compact family. The output signal is the resistance signal of the sensor, e.g. a PT100 or PT1000 without any signal conditioning.

Application

The resistance thermometers "PT Compact“ are used for temperature measurement at low medium pressure. The possible measuring ranges between -200°C (-328°F) and +600°C (+1112°F) cover a big spectrum of temperature measurement tasks.

For quick response times there are special versions with a tapered stem available. High temperature versions are automatically configurated with a necktube. For a maximum of flexibility compression fitting can be used. In this case the insertion length of the PT Compact can be adjusted individually.
All media affected parts and the housing are made of stainless steel (1.4571 = 316TI). The electrical connection is realized via a L-Plug according DIN EN 175301-803, as an option a 4-pole M12x1 connection is available.
In the case of a damage, the measuring insert can be removed from the thermometer without opening the connection to the process. The wiring and the mechanical parts keep in place.
